I am primarily a portraitist, of animals, humans and plants! My art style becomes a deeply personal journey of capturing the essence of living things. With each stroke of the pencil, I immerse myself in the intricacies of living expressions, seeking to unveil the unique personality and characteristics of my subjects. My approach is not merely about replicating physical features but delving into the individual, translating their inner essence onto canvas or paper.

Charcoal - A medium derived from charred wood or compressed charcoal powder. This medium yields deep tints and a wide tonal range, ideal for expressive and dynamic drawings. It allows for bold, gestural marks and smooth blending, offering versatility for creating various textures and atmospheric effects.
Pencil crayons - Consisting of co

It allows for bold, gestural marks and smooth blending, offering versatility for creating various textures and atmospheric effects.
Pencil crayons - Consisting of coloured pigment encased in a wooden barrel. This medium provides vibrant colours and precise control for detailed drawings. They can be layered, blended, and used on different surfaces. This makes them suitable for both intricate illustrations and broader strokes of colour.
Gel Pens - A great addition to make whites pop and make colours brighter. They allow the portrayal of additional details in a bold way.
Acrylic - Though this is not a common occurrence in my studio, I do enjoy the different impacts that the medium has on my style!
